Celebrate easter on the Swedish west coast!
An active and fun easter holiday!
At Lagunen, there’s plenty of exciting and fun activities for the whole family to enjoy this Easter. This year, you can compete to see who’s the best at adventure golf, take a stroll along the Lagunen Walk, relax in the sauna and hot tubs, try out E-MTB biking, watch the Easter bonfire, and much more!
For all the kids, we of course have our popular Easter egg hunt, which this year is combined with a lovely walk for the whole family.
Or why not take a day trip to Koster and Kosterhavet National Park and experience the archipelago the way it’s meant to be. After all these activities, you can recharge with food and drinks at Lagunen Beach Bar, where there will also be live entertainment on April 4th.

What’s Happening at Lagunen This Easter?
Here, the whole family can enjoy a cozy and fun Easter on the Swedish west coast! Below are some of the activities you can look forward to at Lagunen this Easter:

Activities during easter
På Västkusten spenderas tiden bäst utomhus, och det gäller också under påsken. Här kan du uppleva en aktiv påsk. Se några av våra förslag nedan!
Easter Egg Hunt for Kids
Once again this year, we’re combining our Easter egg hunt with a lovely nature walk around Lagunen, on Saturday, March 30.
You’ll enjoy a scenic walk marked with colorful ribbons, where you and your children search for our brightly colored eggs placed along the route.
The eggs may be hidden high, low, and everywhere in between.
When you spot the first egg, color in the first square on your answer sheet with the same color as the egg. Do the same for the second, third, and so on.
At the end of the walk, you’ll pass by the reception and show your completed color code. If the code is correct, you’ll receive an Easter egg!
To take part, tickets are purchased at the reception.
A ticket costs SEK 70.
Saturday, April 4, during reception opening hours.
Easter Bonfire on the Beach
On Easter Saturday, we continue a beloved Swedish tradition with a large Easter bonfire on the beach.
If you and your family want to make an evening of it and enjoy the bonfire, we recommend bringing a blanket or a comfortable chair to sit on. Then all that’s left to do is relax and enjoy the crackling sounds and glowing flames of the fire.
This is something you definitely don’t want to miss!

Easter Sauna
Enjoy our sauna at Lagunen during selected days and times over Easter. We make sure the sauna is heated, and as a checked-in guest you can use the sauna free of charge during the following hours:
Wednesday
12:00–4:30 PM
Maundy Thursday
12:00–4:30 PM
No booking is required – the sauna is open to all checked-in guests during these times.
Cycling in Lagunen Bike Park
Looking for an action-packed Easter holiday? Lagunen Bike Park has plenty to offer! Our bike park is designed for everyone to ride and have fun, regardless of experience level. Practice turns and jumps in the skills area, or learn how to gain speed without pedaling. If you prefer smooth, flowing turns, be sure to try the flow trail.
There’s something for everyone here – a perfect activity for the whole family.
During Easter, you can also rent an MTB bike with us. Simply visit the reception to rent your bike.
Play Adventure Golf with the Family!
Beginner or golf pro? At Lagunen, you’ll find our beautiful adventure golf course – perfect for the whole family. We believe an adventure golf course should be both fun to play and a pleasure to see and experience. Challenge your family this Easter and crown the family golf champion!
Competition!
Everyone who plays adventure golf during Easter and submits their scorecard at the reception has a chance to win an overnight stay in one of our glamping tents! After Easter, we’ll draw a winning scorecard and contact the lucky winner.
Available every day from March 30 – April 6
SEK 60 per person
Scorecards must be submitted by April 6.
The winner will be drawn on April 7.
Easter Walk at Lagunen!
This year, we’re organizing a quiz walk around Lagunen, featuring questions related to Lagunen and Strömstad. To take part, simply pick up an answer sheet at the reception. You’ll need to answer all twelve questions and return the completed form to the reception to participate.
Along the route, there are questions for both adults and children. Of course, the children will also receive a small participation prize.
The person with the most correct answers in the adult quiz will win a gift voucher for one night in our Bergsbyn cabins for four people (including bed linen and departure cleaning).
The gift voucher can be used during autumn/winter 2025.

Lagunen Beach Bar i Påsk!
Right by the water’s edge, you’ll find Lagunen Kitchen & Bar, offering stunning sea views over the bay. This Easter, you can enjoy delicious food and drinks in a beautiful seaside setting.
