A lovely Christmas dinner on the island Furholmen
Experience the Christmas spirit in an idyllic archipelago!
Celebrate Christmas as we Swedes love! Enjoy a fantastic Christmas dinner and discover the still West Coast during the magical winter. Stay at Lagunen, where a ferry will pick you up and bring you to an island called Furholmen. Have a seat in the cozy boathouse and enjoy the buffet filled with different types of pickled herring, cured salmon, ham, liver pâté, beet root salad and much more. During the evning you will not only have fantastic food, Fredrik Lundqvist, Strömstad’s own troubadour will sing traditional Christmas songs, as well as songs from the region. Don’t forget to have a look around you. From the small island there is a stunning view over the archipelago and the town Strömstad.

- Boat trip from Lagunen – Departure at 18:00 from Lagunen’s dock
- Mulled wine and gingerbread on the boat
- Classic Swedish Christmas buffet with coffee and dessert

- Boat trip from Furholmen – Arrival at Lagunen around 22:00

Here’s how to book:
Step 1:
Start by selecting the date for the Christmas buffet you want to book below. Then proceed with the booking.
Step 2:
Next, choose the type of accommodation you want to book and click on “Book” (Note: the dates for the booking are preset for Friday – Sunday. Adjust the dates if you want to add extra days).
Step 3:
Now it’s time to fill in all the details for your booking. After that, click on “Book Activities.” There, select the number of Christmas buffets you want to book. The cost is 725 SEK per person.
Step 4:
Complete the booking.
